One Sunday Clay got a BIG surprise...his friend and artist G. L.Williams (L) came into The Stage on Broadway to introduce his friend Pete to Clay. If you look closely I'm sure you'll recognize him from many movie and TV appearances and just so you know...Pete IS standing on the stage just like Clay and G. L.! Pete and G. L. were on a mission taking pictures all over Nashville so they didn't stay long but they sure made a BIG impression.

Although Clay's band does not have a regularly scheduled shift at Legend's Corner, during the holiday's they got to fill in. (From L-R) Clinton Gregory on rhythm guitar, Clay and bass player Butch Waxx. Clay actually opened for Clinton at Stratton Mountain, Vermont in 1992. When he moved to Nashville he ran into Clinton (Nashville really is a small town) almost right away, but they never had a chance to play together. Clinton is playing with Neal Young but he can join Clay in the band. Clinton is in the movie that Neal Young filmed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
